480 Colleen Schneider signs with Bellator  MMAJunkie reported Tuesday that MMA veteran Colleen Schneider (girlfriend of UFC heavyweight Josh Barnett) has signed with Bellator. Schneider (10-7) will be making her promotional debut at flyweight, and she’s primarily fought at bantamweight previously. Bellator now has a nice stable of flyweights, including Ilima-Lei Macfarlane, Anastasia Yankova and Lena Ovchynnikova. Schneider is slated to make her debut at Bellator 170, which takes place January 21st at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. Meerschaert (24-8) heads into his UFC debut on a five-fight win streak and recently captured the vacant RFA middleweight title with a first-round submission victory over Chase Waldon at RFA 45 last month. Of his 24 career wins, 22 have come by way of stoppage (five knockouts and 17 submissions). The Roufusport product becomes the 53rd fighter from RFA to be signed to the UFC. UFC Fight Night 102 takes place at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York on December 9th.
