Bellator 165’s Michael Chandler: ‘(Benson Henderson) is not real dominant anywhere’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler as he prepares for his upcoming title bout at Bellator 165 this Saturday night (November 19, 2016) against Benson Henderson at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

The champ talks about his training, his MMA future and his opponent Henderson:

“I think the biggest thing about Benson is that he’s not great anywhere. He’s not flashy, he doesn’t have knockout power. He’s got some submissions, he’s decent on the ground. But he’s not real dominant anywhere. He was the champion of the UFC for quite a while. He wasn’t real dominant, everyone called him the decision king. That’s a scary fight for anybody. If you don’t put him away, if you don’t finish him, he has a way of somehow showing the judges that he beat you inside those 25 minutes. You have to be smart with your tactics. I think he’s lost a step, he’s lost confidence. I’m going to step into the cage in less than two weeks and put a beating on him.”
