At the beginning of every month on MMAOddsBreaker, I feature my recurring “Veteran Watch” article which takes a look at some notable veterans competing on the regional/overseas circuit. Kyle Reyes via TKO (Punches) at 0:21, RD.1 UFC veteran Gibson earns his third straight win, while Reyes has his three fight win streak snapped. November 4th – TKO 36: Resurrection (Montreal, Quebec) Derek Gauthier def. Chris Horodecki via TKO Gauthier earns his first win since 2011 and snaps a three-fight losing streak. Horodecki meanwhile has now lost back-to-back fights. Josh Hill def. Xavier Alaoui via Split Decision Hill has now won five of his last six fights while Alaoui suffers the first loss of his career. Jesse Ronson def. Jimmy Spicuzza via TKO at 3:06, RD. 2 UFC vet Ronson snaps a three-fight skid wile Spicuzza has now lost two of his last three fights. November 4th – Fight2Night 1 (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) Thiago Silva (17-5) vs. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou (17-15) Silva earns back-to-back wins for the first time since 2013 while Sokoudjou suffers his fourth loss in his last five fights. Karl Amoussou (23-7-2) vs. Hernani Perpétuo (18-5) Bout cancelled per Tapology Paulo Thiago def. Cheick Kone via Submission (Rear Naked Choke) RD. 3 UFC veteran Thiago earns his two-fight win streak since 2013. Kone drops to 2-2 in his last four fights. William Macário def. Bojan Kosednar via TKO (Punches) RD.1 Macario earns his first since since UFC release last year while Kosednar (a late replacement for Dylan Andrews) suffers his third loss in a row. Virma Jandiroba def. Lisa Ellis via Submission (Rear Naked Choke) RD. 1 Jandiroba improves to 9-0 and earns her eight career win by stoppage. With the setback, Ellis has now lost three in a row. November 6th – TFC 13 (Seoul, South Korea) Sung Chan Hong def. Will Chope via Unanimous Decision Hong improves his winning streak to four-straight while Chope has his two-fight win streak snapped. November 11th – EFC Worldwide 55 Cape Town, South Africa) Ruan Potts def. Brendon Groenewald via Submission (Choke) at 4:21, RD. 2. Former UFC heavyweight Potts earns back-to-back wins for the first time since 2013. Groenewald suffers back-to-back losses for the first time in his career. November 12th – Cage Warriors Unplugged (London, England) Paddy Pimblett def. Julian Erosa via Unanimous decision Pimblett improves to 13-1 overall while Erosa has his two-fight win streak snapped. November 13th – Pancrase 282 (Tokyo, Japan) Andy Main (11-2-1) vs. Issei Tamura (10-7) Bout cancelled due to an injury to Tamura. Rin Nakai (17-2-1) vs. Priscila de Souza (12-7) Bout cancelled due to an injury to de Souza. November 18th – PXC 55 (Guam) Riley Dutro def. Darren Uyenoyama via TKO (Punches) at 2:46, RD.1 Dutro improves his winning streak to five-straight, while UFC and Strikeforce veteran Uyenoyama has his three-fight win streak snapped. November 18th – Ring of Combat 57 (Atlantic City, New Jersey) Julian Lane (11-7-1) vs. Andre Harrison (14-0) Bout cancelled due to an injury to Lane. November 19th – Global Knockout 8 (Jackson, California) Lisa Ellis (15-10) vs. Celine Haga (10-13) Bout cancelled as Haga was signed to Invicta. November 19th – Akhmat Fight Show 31 (Grozny, Russia_ Gilbert Yvel def. Ricco Rodriguez via TKO (Retirement) at 1:00, RD. 1 Yvel picks up his first win since 2012 and pushed his winning streak to three-straight. Rodriguez has now lost three fights in a row. November 23rd – Victory FC 53 (Waterloo, Iowa) Mike “Biggie” Rhodes (10-4) vs. Ronald Stallings (14-7) Bout cancelled due to an illness to Mike “Biggie” Rhodes. Raufeon Stots def.
