Cage Warriors continues to provide one of the best routes for European fighters to get to the UFC, and the promotion will continue its stellar run with a live event this Saturday (November 12, 2016) from the BT Sport Studio which features not one but two title fights. The main event will be a featherweight bout between Paddy Pimblett and Julian Erosa. Pimblett (11-1) is currently riding an eight-fight winning streak which included claiming the Cage Warriors vacant title in his last bout, a first round TKO over Johnny Frachey. Erosa is a UFC veteran who has gone 2-0 since his release from the company with two knockouts. This should be a stern test for Pimblett which will prove whether or not he can make it inside the Octagon should the UFC come calling. The co-main event is a lightweight title bout between Chris Fishgold and Nic Herron-Webb. Fishgold (15-1-1) is a top UK prospect who won the vacant title in July and has already defended the belt once, both by submission inside the 90 second mark of the first round. Herron-Webb (19-7) is also a submission fighter, making an appearance on The Ultimate Fighter season 16. He has won five of his last six bouts with all victories coming by submission. Former UFC fighter Che Mills will also be in action, battling English veteran Matt Inman. MMA oddsmaker Nick Kalikas opened the betting odds for Cage Warriors Unplugged tonight at Several Bookmakers.
