UFC Fight Night 98’s Heather Jo Clark: ‘I feel I can beat Alexa Grasso in transitions’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 98 strawweight Heather Jo Clark as she prepares for her upcoming main card bout this Saturday night (November 5, 2016) against Alexa Grasso at Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico.

The tough veteran is expecting a difficult fight, but she’s hoping her experience will give her an edge over her undefeated opponent:

“I think [Alexa Grasso]’s still fairly new in the sense that she categorizes. It’s like jiu-jitsu, striking, very choppy where as I feel I can beat her in those transitions and catch her in those moments where she’s thinking a little bit and catch her on her heels. I need to surprise her, a lot of fakes and feints and not let her play her game.”
