Gabe Killian’s Plays for Week 8 of the NFL

nflAfter a few weeks off, I am back with my plays for Week 8 of the 2016-17 NFL season. And without further ado, here are my plays for the week… EARLY GAMES Bengals (-140) > Redskins Cinciniatti will aim to climb to a .500 4-4 record with a win over the Redskins on Sunday and I like their chances of pulling this one off. This is TE Tyler Eifert’s second game back from injury and I expect it to be a big one. I see Dalton having a big game, as well; connecting with Eifert for at least one touchdown in the end zone. I think Dalton will do a good job distributing the football on Sunday and getting the much needed victory for his team. I think they cover the spread but why risk it? The moneyline at -140 sounds good to me, so I’ll take it. DAY GAMES Bills +8 (-180) > Patriots buy 2.5pts Buffalo already defeated (a Tom Brady-less) New England on the road this season, and now they try to make it 2-0 on the year, which would be a remarkable feat for the underdog football team. They generally play well agains the Patriots, especially at home, so I like their chances of coering the spread on this one. I am buying two and a half points just to make it safer. Raiders pk (-110) > Buccaneers buy 1.5pts The 5-2 Raiders take on the 3-3 Buccs and I expect the raiders to climb to 6-3 while Tampa Bay drops to a losing 3-4 record for the season. The Raiders look the best they have in a long time and I think a victory this week will be big for them. I think they are simply the better football team and at coin-flip odds, I favor them to come out victorious on Sunday. The Raiders defense will need to step it up here a bit and I think they will do enough to keep their offense ahead on the scoreboard. Games to Avoid Betting: Lions/Texans, Eagles/Cowboys
