MMA Odds and Ends for Thursday: Hendricks vs. Magny, Brown vs. Saffiedine added to UFC 207

480 Johny Hendricks vs. Neil Magny, Matt Brown vs. Tarec Saffiedine added to UFC 207 UFC officials announced two welterweight matchups have been added to UFC 207 in Las Vegas as Johny Hendricks battles Neil Magny, while Matt Brown faces off with Tarec Saffiedine. Hendricks (17-5) has lost back-to-back fights against Stephen Thompson and most recently Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 200. The former UFC welterweight champion has just one win since 2014. Magny (18-5) has won 10 of his last 12 fights but heads into this contest off a first round loss to Lorenz Larkin at UFC 202. Saffiedine (16-5) also heads into this matchup off a loss, suffering a unanimous decision defeat to Rick Story at UFC Fight Night 88 back in May. Brown (20-15) heads into this contest losing four of his last five fights, including a first round TKO loss to Jake Ellenberger at UFC 201 in July. UFC 207 takes place Dec. 30 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Here’s an updated look at the card.
