Shane Carwin says he’s fighting MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko A few months back former UFC interim heavyweight champion Shane Carwin revealed that he was coming out of retirement. Now it appears he may be taking on former PRIDE champion Fedor Emelianenko in RIZIN, according to a series of tweets over the weekend.

Carwin (12-2) hasn’t fought since a June 2011 loss to Junior dos Santos at UFC 131 and later retired due to injuries. Emelianenko (35-4) has gone 2-0 since coming out of retirement himself, earning back-to-back victories over Jaideep Singh and Fábio Maldonado.
