Bellator 163’s Liam McGeary: ‘I’ve got some tricks up my sleeve for Phil Davis’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 163 light heavyweight champion Liam McGeary as he prepares for his upcoming main event title bout tonight (Friday, November 4, 2016) against Phil Davis at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncusville, Connecticut.

The undefeated champion is recovering from a year-long layoff due to injury, but he feels he’ll be plenty prepared for everything an elite fighter like Phil Davis has to offer:

“I have a submission gameplan. I have a knockout strategy as well. I’ve been working all areas of his game because the dude is good. I’ve literally just been watching his last fight against King Mo. He’s a talented fighter. He’s ranked number five in the world for a reason. I’ve had a year out but I will be prepared. I’m prepared for what he has to offer. I’m not gonna tell you my gameplan on the ground but I’ve got some tricks up my sleeve.”
