Over/Under Totals for UFC 204

Stefan StruveUFC 204 Date: October 8, 2016 Arena: Manchester Arena City: Manchester, England The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heads back to Mancheste, England for the fourth time in promotional history with UFC 204: Bisping vs Henderson II. The 12-fight card is set to kick off preliminary action on UFC Fight Pass at 6:30pm and will continue on FOX Sports 1 at 8pm. Main card action will be live on Pay Per View at 10pm. If interested in wagering on any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakers. My Over/Under Totals are: Heavyweight bout: Stefan Struve (-175) vs Daniel Omielanczuk (+155) Gabe’s Thoughts: Omielanczuk is a solid striker but isn’t much of a knockout threat. That said, if he lands cleanrly, he can send “The Skyscraper” tumbling for a knockout victory. While he isn’t much of a finisher, he isn’t easy to put away, either. He is quite durable and has a good chin, so I don’t love Struve’s chances of earning a T/KO here. I think this fight has a good chance of hitting the judges’ scorecards for a decision, and I think Struve will have formed a solid game-plan with head Blackzilian’s striking coach Henry Hooft to secure a victor in this contest. The Total of Over 1.5 rounds for this contest is currently at -150 and I see value in that line. Gabe’s Call: Struve by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Over 1.5 rounds (-150) 3u to win 2u Welterweight bout: Danny Roberts (-145) vs Mike Perry (+125) Gabe’s Thoughts: In short, I think it is 50/50 as to whether this fight hits the judges’ scorecards for a decision or not, and with the Total being set at 1.5 rounds, I do like the Over at the underdog price of +120 for a small value play. Gabe’s Call: Perry by Split Decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Over 1.5 rounds (+120) 1u to win 1.2u
