Daniel Cormier vs. Anthony Johnson II added to UFC 206 in Toronto Daniel Cormier announced Wednesday on “UFC Tonight” on FS1 that he will be defending his light heavyweight title against Anthony Johnson in a rematch from UFC 187. Cormier (17-1) submitted Johnson in May 201 at UFC 187 and subsequently claimed the 205-pound belt that was vacated by former champ Jon Jones. Following that win, Cormier defeated Alexander Gustafsson by split decision at UFC 192. Johnson (22-5) heads into this matchup off three-straight knockout victories, including a finish of Glover Teixeira at UFC 202 this past August. In addition, a number of new matchups were added to the card including newcomer Poliana Botelho (5-1) facing former title challenger Valerie Letourneau (8-5); Zach Makovsky (19-7) vs. John Moraga (16-5) in a bantamweight affair and three lightweight bouts with John Makdessi (14-5) vs. Lando Vannata (8-1 MMA), Olivier Aubin-Mercier (8-2) vs. Drew Dober (17-7) and Rustam Khabilov (20-3) vs. Jason Saggo (12-2).
