UFC 204 Date: October 8, 2016 Arena: Manchester Arena City: Manchester, England The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heads back to Mancheste, England for the fourth time in promotional history with UFC 204: Bisping vs Henderson II. The 12-fight card is set to kick off preliminary action on UFC Fight Pass at 6:30 p.m. and will continue on FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m. Main card action will be live on Pay-Per-View at 10 p.m. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are currently made available at Several Bookmakers. Here is my parlay: Bantamweight bout: Davey Grant (-175) vs Damian Stasiak (+155) Gabe’s Thoughts: Simply put, I think Grant follows the blueprint Yaotzin Meza laid out for him and grinds Stasiak out for 15 minutes to pick up a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. If Stasiak could stay in this and make it a close fight, the hometown edge for Grant makes me confident he would take the nod. While not always the case, as was evident with Jessica Eye losing to Bethe Correia in her hometown of Cleveland at UFC 203 (though inactivity was at fault for that), I don’t see that happening with Grant here. I think the Brit will remain active both on the feet and on the mat throughout this bout. He may not find the finish, but I think he will manage to get his hand raised on Saturday night and rise to 2-0 in the UFC’s 135-pound division. Gabe’s Call: Grant by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Welterweight bout: Albert “Einstein” Tumenov (-250) vs Leon “Rocky” Edwards (+210) Gabe’s Thoughts: This is a excellent ‘striker vs. striker’ matchup in the UFC’s 170-pound division and despite being at the bottom of the televised prelims, it is one of the most looked forward to bouts on the entire fight card. Edwards is a talented striker, but I think “Einstein” is better. I would give Tumenov the grappling edge, as well as power. Not only do I think he has somewhat of an advantage on the feet, but I think he holds a big edge in power, which is what I think could be the main difference maker in this welterweight contest scheduled for three rounds. I think he has a decent chance of stopping Edwards with strikes, but if he doesn’t find the finish, I think he will do enough over the course of the three rounds of action to pick up the unanimous nod from the judges Octagon-side. Gabe’s Call: Tumenov by T/KO (strikes, 2:03 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Grant (-175) and Tumenov (-280) at +113 for 4.15u to win 4.7u
