If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are currently made available at Several Bookmakers. Here is my parlay: Lightweight bout: Will Brooks (-260) vs. Alex Oliveira (+220) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Brooks is better than Oliveira everywhere. The Brazilian could keep it close on the feet, but I see Brooks’ superior wrestling being the difference maker. I think he will take Oliveira down in each round and spend enough time to secure a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. He showed adrenaline dump in his Octagon debut against Ross Pearson, but I think his cardio will be in check heading into this bout. I think he should be a -360 betting favorite here, so I think he holds value at his current offering price of -260. Gabe’s Call: Brooks by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Flyweight bout: Louis Smolka (-400) vs. Brandon Moreno (+325) Gabe’s Thoughts: Moreno is a contenstant on the current season of TUF and taking this fight on short notice, replacing an injured Sergio Pettis. While he is legit and a game opponent, I see Smolka getting the better of him both on the feet and on the mat in this contest. I think this is the Hawaiian’s fight to lose, as I see him having several routes to victory, and I think he will find one of them on Saturday night. Gabe’s Call: Smolka by Submission (rear naked choke, 4:11 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Brooks (-260) and Smolka (-400) at -137 for 3.55u to win 2.55u
