Here are my quick thoughts on the UFC Saudi Arabia Opening Odds:
- The main event is a five-round middleweight bout between Israel Adesanya and Nassourdine Imavov. Adesanya is the former champion but he is coming off two straight losses and does appear to be on the decline. As for Imavov, he has won his last three fights overall and looks like a contender now. This is a huge step up for Imavov, but it’s a fight that he can win, especially if Adesanya truly is on the downside of his MMA career.
- In the co-main event, we have Michael Page taking on Shara Magomedov at middleweight. Page is 1-1 in the UFC and is coming off a decision loss to Ian Machado Garry after he beat Kevin Holland in his debut. As for Magomedov, he is a perfect 4-0 so far in the UFC and has been looking like a true contender ever since he joined the promotion. Page is moving up to middleweight for this fight, which is something worth considering, but he has more experience in MMA overall. Still, with Magomedov being undefeated so far in the UFC, it’s hard not to lean his way. After Page opened as the favorite, the line flipped and Magomedov is favored now.
