Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for LFA 180:
- The main event of LFA 180 features Lance Lawrence against Landry Ward at featherweight. Lawrence is making his LFA debut here after spending most of his career fighting on the regional scene for Hard Rock MMA. He also fought once on Dana White’s Contender Series but lost. As for his opponent, Ward is 1-1 overall in LFA, winning his promotional debut against Matheus Pereira by split decision before losing a split decision to Alfred Walker. A pro since 2019, he has won three fights by stoppage and five fights by decision in his career. Given Ward has already gained experience fighting in LFA, you have to favor him to win this fight, although Lawrence is certainly a live underdog here.
- Also on the card is a lightweight bout featuring Kegan Agnew and Richie Miranda. For Agnew, this fight will mark his debut for LFA. He enters this fight coming off a win after losing to UFC veteran Austin Hubbard in his fight before that. As for Miranda, he is 4-1 in LFA and is coming off a knockout win in his last fight. It makes sense that Miranda is the favorite heading into this fight due to his fantastic record in LFA.
