Here are my quick thoughts on 2024 PFL Europe Regular Season: France:
- The main event of this PFL Europe card features Cedric Doumbe taking on Baissangour Chamsoudinov at welterweight in a battle of undefeated fighters. Doumbe is one of the top welterweight prospects in the world and he made good on that with a devastating knockout win in his PFL debut last year. As for Chamsoudinov, he is also an excellent prospect who is coming off a knockout win over former UFC fighter Efrain Escudero in his last fight. The oddsmakers opened up the betting odds very close for this bout, but it’s hard not to like Doumbe in this fight given the pedigree of his striking.
- In the co-main event, we have a welterweight bout between Abdoul Abdouraguimov and Jack Grant. Abdouraguimov was one of the top unsigned welterweights before the PFL picked him up, and he picked up a finish in his promotional debut last year. As for Grant, he is a long-time Cage Warriors veteran who is making his PFL debut in this bout. The bookies set Abdouraguimov as a big favorite to win this fight, and he should be able to get the finish.
