Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for Cage Warriors 166:
- The main event of Cage Warriors 166 is a featherweight bout between Wilson Reis and Toby Misech. Reis is 3-1 so far in Cage Warriors, although he lost a split decision to former UFC fighter Trevin Jones in his last fight. As for Misech, he is coming off a knockout loss in Cage Warriors in his last fight. Reis is the better fighter and he has earned his title as the rightful betting favorite for this bout, although you can’t discount Misech from pulling off the upset as he himself is a very experienced fighter who shouldn’t be completely ruled out of winning this.
- The co-main event of Cage Warriors 166 is a lightweight bout between Mason Jones and Bryce Logan. Jones has won his last two fights in Cage Warriors since he was surprisingly cut by the UFC two years ago. As for Logan, he is coming off a knockout win in Bellator in his last fight but he was not brought over to the new version of the promotion after PFL bought the promotion. You have to lean toward Jones to win this fight and he is a massive favorite to do so. In many ways, it is still very confusing why he was ever cut by the UFC in the first place.
