Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for LFA 175:
- The main event of LFA 175 sees the light heavyweight title on the line between champion Bruno Lopes and challenger Marcos Brigagao. Lopes is coming off a huge upset KO loss to Brendson Ribeiro on Dana White’s Contender Series last fall, a fight that he was a massive favorite in before getting shockingly knocked out in brutal fashion. It was his first career loss after winning most of his fights before that via stoppage. As for Brigagao, he is coming off a win over former UFC fighter Jonathan Wilson in his last fight, and overall he has won three of his last four fights. While Brigagao has looked good lately, Lopes should be able to win here.
- In the co-main event, Anderson Ferreira fights Samuel Silva at lightweight. Ferreira has won his last four fights in a row, including several wins in LFA. As for Silva, he has won his last three fights, including a win in LFA his last time out. Still, you have to favor Ferreira here just given that he has more high-level experience, which is why he is the betting favorite here.
