Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for Cage Warriors 164:
- The CWFC middleweight title is on the line Mick Stanton takes on Dario Bellandi. Stanton has won his last three fights in a row and made a successful title defense in his last fight after winning the belt in his previous outing. As for Bellandi, he has won his last four fights in a row, including submission wins in three of those fights. As the defending champ, Stanton is the clear favorite to get the win in this fight, and at a Pick ’em price could be a good value bet.
- The vacant CWFC bantamweight title Liam Gittins and Reece McEwan. Gittins has won his last four fights in a row, with finishes in his last three outings. As for McEwan, he has won his last four fights as well, with three finishes during that time. This is also a Pick ’em fight for a belt and it’s a tough one to call as both of these fighters seem to match up fairly evenly.
