Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for LFA 170:
- The main event of LFA 170 is a welterweight bout between Haris Talundzic and Daniel Frunza. Talundzic has gone 5-1 overall fighting in LFA, where he has competed for the majority of his pro career save for his debut back in 2019. He has looked good overall in LFA, and he is coming off of a submission win in his last outing. As for Frunza, he has fought just one time for LFA, which was a victory over Jalin Fuller in his last bout by knockout. He has also won his last three fights overall heading into this matchup. Still, you have to lean toward Talundzic to get the win in this bout, and the oddsmakers have made him the favorite for a reason here.
- Also on the card is a welterweight bout between Myktybek Orolbai and Hayward Charles. Orolbai has won his last five fights in a row, including two straight wins fighting for LFA. As for Charles, he has a 0-1 record fighting for LFA. He is coming off a win in his last bout, but it was for a different organization. According to the oddsmakers, Orolbai is a massive favorite to win this fight, which makes sense given the long winning streak he is on at the moment.
