Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds For Bellator 300:
- The main event of Bellator 300 is a 155 lbs title bout between Bellator lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov and challenger Brent Primus, who is a former champion himself. Nurmagomedov is unbeaten with a 17-0 record in MMA and he has a perfect 6-0 record in Bellator. As for Primus, he is 10-3 overall in Bellator and he is coming off of a big win over Mansour Barnaoui in his last fight. Overall, this should be another fun lightweight bout in the Bellator lightweight Grand Prix, but Nurmagomedov is the clear favorite to get the win here.
- In the co-main event, Cris Cyborg fights Cat Zingano for the Bellator women’s featherweight title. Cyborg has won her last six fights in a row overall, including a perfect 5-0 record in Bellator. She has also boxed twice recently, winning bout of those bouts. As for Zingano, she is a perfect 4-0 in Bellator. Although Zingano is a solid fighter in her own right, Cyborg is one of the greatest women’s MMA fighters of all time and there is no reason she can’t win this bout.
