Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for LFA 168:
- The main event of LFA 168 is a bantamweight bout between Mitchell McKee and Sean McPadden. McKee is only 25 years old and he started fighting pro in 2021, going 4-0 so far with all of his wins coming by finish. Three of his wins have come under the LFA banner with the other win coming in Bellator. He is a Kill Cliff FC product and appears to be a very good prospect. As for McPadden, he is 6-1 as a pro with all of his wins coming by stoppage. While fighting under the LFA banner, McPadden has a 4-1 record. Overall, this looks like a very good fight between two talented prospects. However, with McKee being unbeaten, he is the favorite.
- Also on the card is a catchweight bout between Lucas Clay and Bobby Lee. Clay is 4-1 overall fighting under the LFA banner. He has also won five of his last six fights overall heading into this bout. As for Lee, he has a 5-5 record in LFA plus an additional 4-0 in RFA, so he has been around the promotion for a long time. Both of these fighters are talented and this should be a good fight. However, you have to lean toward Clay to win as he’s been hotter as of late.
