Here are my quick thoughts on 2023 PFL Europe Regular Season: Germany:
- Headlining the PFL Europe 2 card is a bantamweight bout between Francesco Nuzzi and Farbod Iran Nezhad. Nuzzi is unbeaten over his last nine fights in a row, with his last defeat coming all the way back in 2016. As for Nezhad, he’s won his last three fights in a row heading into this bout. Nuzzi has been on a roll as of late, and it’s very difficult to bet against a fighter with so much momentum heading into this fight. As such, you have to lean toward Nuzzi here.
- Also on the card is a bantamweight bout between Khurshed Kakhorov and Moktar Benkaci. Kakhorov has only lost once in his MMA career, which was a TKO defeat to Brett Johns in Bellator, obviously not a bad fight to lose. Since then, he’s won another fight to bounce back into the win column. As for Benkaci, he is unbeaten in his last seven fights in a row. Both guys have a lot of experience, but Kakhorov has been overall more consistent during his MMA career. That’s why he’s the favorite here, although you can’t count out Benkaci from winning in this matchup.
