Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for LFA 157:
- The main event of LFA 157 sees Melissa Croden take on Jacqueline Cavalcanti for the vacant LFA women’s bantamweight title. Croden is coming off two straight submission wins and overall she has finished four of her five pro MMA fights. As for Cavalcanti, she is also coming off two straight wins. Both women are talented, which is why they are fighting for this vacant belt. Cavalcanti opened up as the betting favorite here, but Croden is of course a live dog.
- Also on the card is a lightweight bout between Arthur Estrazulas and Bobby Lee. Estrazulas is 3-1 overall under the LFA banner and he is coming off a big knockout in his last fight. As for Lee, he has a 5-4 overall record in LFA. Both men have a lot of experience in the promotion, but you have to lean towards Estrazulas here given he has more momentum as of late.
- Overall this should be another fun night of LFA fights. The promotion keeps proving that it is the best way for up-and-coming fighters to make it to the UFC, so expect another great showing from these young fighters as they look to make a statement.
