Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for LFA 155:
- In the main event of LFA 155, Rafael do Nascimento takes on Jerrell Hodge for the interim LFA bantamweight title. Nascimento has won his last four fights in a row, including two straight finishes in LFA. In his last fight, he picked up a big upset win over Justin Wetzell to get this title shot. In fact, he was the underdog in both of his LFA fights, and he won both of them. As for Hodge, he is making his LFA debut here after having won his last four fights in MMA. While Hodge is certainly a talented fighter in his own right, do Nascimento has to be considered the clear favorite here based on his previous two victories in LFA, which were both stoppage wins.
- In the co-main event, Solomon Renfro takes on Glaucio Eliziario at lightweight. Renfro has won his last two fights after dropping two straight to UFC fighters Adam Fugitt and Jonny Parsons. Eliziario, meanwhile, has a 1-3 record in LFA, with his last four fights taking place in the promotion. Although Eliziario has fought really good competition during his career, Renfro has been the more consistent fighter and he deserves to be the betting favorite in this fight.
