Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds For Bellator 291:
- The main event of Bellator 291 is a rematch between champion Yaroslav Amosov and interim champ Logan Storley for the Bellator welterweight title. These two previously met back in 2020, with Amosov winning a split decision. He has only fought once since then, a decision win over Doulas Lima in 2021, as he went to war for the Ukraine last year. Now he’s back and ready to defend his belt, but Storley will be a tough test coming off of a decision win over Michael Page. Overall, it should be a competitive bout, but it’s hard not to go with Amosov here given that he is undefeated with a 26-0 UFC record.
- Also on the card is a co-main event between Jeremy Kennedy and Pedro Carvalho at featherweight. Kennedy is coming off of an injury TKO win over Aaron Pico, while Carvalho is coming off of a win over Mads Burnell. This should be a competitive fight, but Kennedy has been more consistent lately and he should be favored here.
- Overall, it should be a fun Irish fight card for Bellator.
