Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for LFA 152:
- The main event of LFA 152 is a middleweight bout between Azamat Bekoev and Renato Valente. Bekoev is making his LFA debut in this fight after winning his last two bouts in Europe, including a victory in the Oktagon promotion. He also holds a notable submission win over Chris Honeycutt in ACA. Looking at Bekoev’s record, most of his victories have come by stoppage, which is impressive. As for Valente, he returns to LFA after going 2-2 in his previous four fights for the promotion. The last time we saw him in the cage, he knocked out Jared Revel. Bekoev is a big favorite here, but Valente is a solid fighter in his own right. While the odds are suggesting Bekoev should win this fight handily, Valente will put up a good fight.
- In the co-main event, William Starks meets Manny Muro in a 160lbs catchweight bout. Starks is 3-1 overall in LFA and he won his last fight for the promotion last year. As for Muro, he is making his LFA debut after going 3-1 in Bellator, including a notable win over Nick Newell. This should also be a very good fight between two solid fighters. Given Starks has already been having success in LFA, he is the favorite here, but Muro is a solid fighter in his own right.
