Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for LFA 150:
- The main event of LFA 150 is a bantamweight bout between Ary Farias and John Sweeney. Farias is coming off of a nice win over Michinori Tanaka in his last fight in LFA, which is a notable victory over a UFC veteran. As for Sweeney, he is hot right now as he rides a five-fight win streak into this contest. Sweeney is on a roll lately, but Arias opened as the slight favorite.
- In the co-main event, heavyweights Thomas Petersen and Richard Foster collide. Petersen is 5-1 overall under the LFA banner with all five of his wins coming by way of stoppage. His lone loss was a defeat to current UFC fighter Waldo Cortes-Acosta, which is not a bad loss to have on your resume. As for Foster, he has been a pro since 2012 and he is making his LFA debut here. He is coming off of a submission win in his last fight, but that was his first bout in four years. All signs point to Petersen winning and he is a big favorite to get his hand raised.
