Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for LFA 136:
- The main event of LFA 136 is a featherweight bout between Wellington Prado and Italo Gomes. Prado is just 22 years old and enters this bout with a 12-2 pro MMA record. He has been a pro since 2017 and has fought competition such as current UFC fighter Joanderson Brito. The majority of his wins have come by stoppage, indicating a dangerous finisher. As for Gomes, he is 26 years old and has a similar MMA record at 11-2, with most of his wins also coming by stoppage. He also has experience in LFA, having scored a decision win in the promotion in his last fight. This looks like a close fight on paper and the odds indicate that.
- As for the co-main event, it’s a flyweight bout between Eduardo Henrique and Davi Costa. Henrique is 26 years old and brings an impressive 10-1 record into this contest, having won his last five fights in a row. As for Costa, he has an 11-1 record and he has won his last eight fights in a row entering this bout. Given Costa has lost more than Henrique, it was Henrique who opened as the favorite, but this certainly looks like another close fight on paper.
