Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for Cage Warriors 139:
- The main event of Cage Warriors 139 is a lightweight bout between Max Rohskopf and Erick Sanchez. If you remember, Rohskopf was a one-and-done fighter in the UFC back in 2020. He fought Austin Hubbard in his only UFC fight and was immediately cut from the promotion afterward after not getting up off of the stool. Since then, though, Rohskopf has fought twice for Cage Warriors and he has won both of his fights. It was unfortunate to see such a talented fighter have a tough go in the Octagon, but it’s nice to see him doing well for CWFC. As for Sanchez, he has fought for a number of notable promotions such as Bellator and Combate Global. In his last fight, he picked up a submission win. However, he will likely encounter some grappling issues going against Rohskopf, and that’s why Rohskopf is the favorite in this fight.
- As for the co-main event, it’s a lightweight bout between Alex Trinidad and Jordan Bailey. Both fighters are coming off of losses in CWFC in their last fights, so it will be interesting to see who bounces back and gets into the win column here, with Trinidad opening as the betting favorite.
