Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for Cage Warriors 133:
- The main event of Cage Warriors 133 features lightweights Kyle Driscoll and Joshua Jones. Driscoll is a 28-year-old Contender Series veteran who has won his last seven fights in a row heading into this fight. That being said, it’s important to note he hasn’t fought since a win on Contender Series in 2020. He won a decision and Dana White passed on giving him a contract, so it will be interesting to see how he bounces back after such a long layoff. As for Jones, he is a Bellator veteran who has actually won his last two fights in a row heading into this one. Driscoll seems like the more solid fighter and deserves to be the favorite here.
- The co-main event sees former UFC fighter Wilson Reis takes on Bellator veteran Jeremiah Labiano in a featherweight bout. Reis is actually coming off of two straight losses and it’s been a while since he was a top-shelf flyweight in the UFC. As for Labiano, he is coming off of a win in his last fight as well. I like this matchup because it’s two veterans of the sport who have been around for a long time going at it. But with Reis’ grappling, you have to lean his way.
