Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds For Bellator 274:
- The main event of Bellator 274 is a five-round welterweight bout between contenders Neiman Gracie and Logan Storley. It’s worth noting this is the first non-title, five-round fight in Bellator history. Gracie is 9-2 overall in the UFC and he is coming off of a TKO win over Mark Lemminger in his last fight, his first career win by knockout. As for Storley, he is 7-1 overall in Bellator, although he is coming off of a close split decision win over Dante Schiro in his last fight. It’s hard to get a good read on Storley given he nearly beat Yaroslav Amosov but lost to Schiro. Still, he could be an interesting underdog to take a look at given his wrestling skills.
- The co-main event sees welterweights Andrey Koreshkov and Chance Rencountre going at it. Koreshkov is 16-4 overall in Bellator and he is coming off of back-to-back wins over Sabah Homasi and Adriano Rodrigues. As for Rencountre, he is returning to Bellator after several years away fighting for other promotions such as the UFC. In the past, he has a 2-1 record in Bellator. Although Rencountre is underrated, Koreshkov is one of Bellator’s best welterweights.
