Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for Cage Warriors 132:
- The main event of Cage Warriors 132 features Cage Warriors bantamweight champion Dominique Wooding taking on challenger Carlos Abreu. Wooding is a CWFC and Bellator veteran who has won his last two fights in a row. He is only 25 years old so there is reason to believe that Wooding can continue to improve and get better. As for his opponent, Abreu is 29 years old and he has won four of his last five fights heading into this matchup. This looks like it could be a competitive fight, but since Wooding is the champ he deserves to be the favorite.
- The co-main event sees Cage Warriors flyweight champion Sam Creasey take on Luke Shanks in a rematch. These two met back in October at Cage Warriors 129, and Creasey defeated Shanks in the third round via guillotine choke to win the vacant title. Given that these two just fought in October and Creasey won by stoppage, he should be favored to win the rematch, and he is. Shanks might have been favored in the first fight, but since Creasey won you have to give him the respect and the benefit of the doubt as the defending champion. This should be an awesome rematch but look for Creasey to get the job done once again.
