Dana White’s Contender Series 45 takes place on Tuesday, October 26 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The offshore sportsbooks recently opened up the betting odds for the event, and MMAOB staff writer Adam Martin takes a look at the opening odds below.

Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds For Dana White’s Contender Series 45:
- The main event of DWCS 45 is a middleweight bout between Gadzhi Omargadzhiev and Jansey Silva. Omargadzhiev is a perfect 12-0 so far as a pro with most of his wins coming by stoppage. He hasn’t fought in nearly a year, though, so he may bring some ring rust into this fight. As for Silva, he is just 26 and he is 7-1 as a pro with most of his wins also coming by stoppage. Both fighters appear to be striking-based fighters so this should be a fun fight for as long as it lasts. The odds do seem a bit too heavy on Omargadzhiev given that he is a very unproven fighter, but at the same time, he’s undefeated so it’s not surprising that he’s favored.
- The co-main event sees Christian Quinonez against Long Xiao in a bantamweight contest. Quinonez is just 25 but he already has plenty of professional fighting experience while competing for promotions such as Brave CF, Jungle Fight, and Combate. As for Xiao, he is only but he already has 22 pro fights and a 16-6 record while competing mainly for WLF in China and ONE Championship. Despite Xiao having a lot of fight experience at a young age, it is Quinonez who enters this match as a sizable betting favorite to get his hand raised.
