Here are my quick thoughts on the PFL 2021: Week 6 Opening Odds:
- The main event of PFL 6 features women’s lightweight star Kayla Harrison against Cindy Dandois. Like many of Harrison’s fights, she comes into this fight against Dandois as a monster -1500 betting favorite, and it’s hard to say that’s wrong. Harrison has won all nine of her professional MMA fights and has been dominant every single time we’ve seen her. As for Dandois, she is coming off of a tough loss to Kaitlin Young in PFL and she is the biggest underdog on the card here. Although Dandois is a veteran of the sport and has plenty of experience in the sport, she appears to be in over her head here against Harrison.
- The co-main event of PFL 6 features Anthony Pettis against Raush Manfio. Pettis lost a unanimous decision to Clay Collard in his PFL debut but he will be looking to bounce back here against Manfio, who is coming off of a split decision win over Joilton Lutterbach in his last fight. Although Pettis is a big name in the sport, he does appear to be on the decline and this could be a spot where an underrated fighter such as Manfio comes in and pulls off the upset.
