LFA 73 takes place at the Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas on Friday (August 2, 2019) at 9 p.m. ET live on AXS TV. Featherweights Austin Lingo and Solo Hatley Jr. are slated to duke it out in the new main event after a whopping five fighters missed weight.
Lingo (6-0) has gone 5-0 inside the LFA cage, and remains undefeated as a professional. “Lights Out” most recently finished Angel Luis Cruz via first round rear naked choke at LFA 62 this past March. Hatley Jr. (6-1) has won six consecutive fights including his lone LFA contest. Hatley Jr. most recently won via first round TKO over TeeJay Britton at LFA 67 last May.
In the co-main event, a pair of women’s flyweights will battle as Hailey Cowan takes on Jessica Middleton.
Cowan (3-1) has spent her entire career in LFA. She most recently scored a second round submission victory against Sarah Click at LFA 63 in March. Middleton (5-5) is making her promotional debut. She most recently had a three-fight winning streak snapped when she lost to Cheri Muraski via second round submission in April.
