Conor McGregor landed a flying knee right at the start of the bout. He then broke Donald Cerrone’s nose with shoulder strikes. He quickly landed a left head kick that sent Cerrone to the canvas. McGregor followed up with strikes on the ground until Herb Dean stopped the bout forty seconds into the first round to give McGregor the victory. McGregor closed -300 while Cerrone closed at +250
Holly Holm controlled the cage pushing Raquel Pennington against over the course of fifteen minutes in what was a rather lackluster bout with few clean strikes landed. Holm closed -145 with the return on Pennington +125
Carlos Diego Ferreira showed his grappling prowess as he gave Anthony Pettis just the second submission loss of his career when he won by neck crank in round two. Ferreira closed -220 while Pettis closed +190
Sodiq Yusuff looked excellent in the first two rounds against Andre Fili. He slowed down in the third round, but did more than enough in the first two rounds to take a decision. Yusuff closed -145. Fili closed +125
Askar Askarov dominated the striking exchanges landing in combination throughout the fight to win a unanimous decision over former flyweight title challenger Tim Elliott. Askarov closed -145 while Elliott closed +125
Aleksa Camur had a higher output in his fight with Justin Ledet combining kicks, body punches, and clinch work to earn a hard-fought decision. Camur closed -130 with the return on Ledet +110
Underdogs that Won
Brian Kelleher took Ode Osbourne to the mat and once he had a hold of Osbourne’s neck he was able to find a beautiful guillotine choke to get the win. Kelleher closed +130 while Osbourne closed -150
In what will be one of the biggest upsets of 2020, Roxanne Modafferi dominated Maycee Barber to take a decision and give Barber her first loss. Modafferi closed +650 while Barber closed -1000
On a three-fight winning streak, Nasrat Haqparast was stunned by Drew Dober via first round knockout. Dober closed +270. Haqparast closed -340
After a slow opening round, Sabina Mazo found success in the clinch landing knees to the body and head of her opponent, JJ Aldrich, which allowed her to edge the first bout of 2020 by split decision. Mazo closed -105 while Aldrich closed -115
Pickem Fighters that Won
Aleksei Oleinik had a major advantage on the mat against Maurice Greene. The American did well to defend the submissions in the first round, but Oleinik found the armbar in round two and was able to force Greene to submit. Both fighters closed -110
