Katlyn Chookagian used her jab well and landed some clean head kicks to win a clear decision over Jennifer Maia. Chookagian closed -137 while Maia closed +118
Hakeem Dawodu nearly doubled up the strikes on Julio Arce to take a split decision in the opening fight of the night. Dawodu closed -118. Arce closed -103
Underdogs that Won
Darren Till utilized his size advantage well keeping Kelvin Gastelum at distance to earn a hard fought decision victory for the biggest win of his career. Till closed +170. Gastelum closed -200
Kevin Lee landed one of the cleanest head kicks in UFC history sending Gregor Gillespie backward to hit the cage wall and then proceed to crumble to the canvas for one of the most memorable knockouts of the year. Lee closed +120 while Gillespie closed -159
Corey Anderson ended Johnny Walker’s undefeated run as he knocked out the Brazilian in the opening round. Anderson closed +131 with the return on Walker -159
Lyman Good landed a flush punch to the nose of Chance Rencountre in round three. Rencountre covered up not to take any more damage forcing the referee to step in and stop the bout. Good closed -109 while Rencountre closed -111
Fighters that Closed at Even Odds
Stephen Thompson battered Vicente Luque over the course of three rounds to runaway with a decision victory. Both fighters closed -110
Blagoy Ivanov and Derrick Lewis ended up in a heavyweight slugfest that was very difficult to score. Two of the judges awarded the bout to Lewis to give him the split decision victory. Both fighters closed -110
