After escaping a takedown in round two, Marlon Vera got back to his feet and landed a knee that sent Nohelin Hernandez to the canvas. Vera quickly took his opponent’s back and secured a rear naked choke for a submission victory. Vera closed -470. Hernandez closed +375
Claudia Gadelha controlled the tempo of the fight out striking Randa Markos to win by decision. Gadelha closed -222 while Markos closed +180
Song Yadong landed a beautiful counter right hand that sent Alejandro Perez to the canvas. Yadong landed one punch on the mat before Herb Dean jumped in and stopped the bout. Yadong closed -244 with the return on Perez +195
Underdogs that Won
Jorge Masvidal stunned the Las Vegas crowd as he set a UFC record with the fastest knockout in the history of the promotion when he landed a flying knee to knockout Ben Askren in just five seconds. Masvidal closed +170 while Askren closed -200
Jan Blachowicz hurt Luke Rockhold at the end of round one, but it took until round two for him to put Rockhold away. Blachowicz closed +205 with the return on Rockhold -250
Chance Rencountre secured takedowns in all three rounds to shock Ismail Naurdiev and win by decision. Rencountre closed +419 while Naurdiev closed -526
