Brendan Loughnane mixed takedowns with volume striking on the feet to outwork Bill Algeo to win a clear decision in a featherweight bout. Loughnane closed -303 with the return on Algeo +250
Underdogs that Won
In the opening fight of season three, Yorgan De Castro landed a vicious lower leg kick that sent Alton Meeks to the canvas. Meeks was unable to stand back up forcing the referee to step in and stop the bout in the first round. De Castro was victorious as a huge +650 underdog while Meeks closed -1000. De Castro impressed UFC management and earned himself a UFC contract.
