UFC on ESPN+ 11 Closing Odds and Betting Results

UFC on ESPN+ 11 took place Saturday, June 1, 2019 in Stockholm, Sweden. The card was headlined by an important light heavyweight fight between Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Smith.

Sergey Khandozhko dropped Rostem Akman in the second round and hurt him multiple times in round three to edge out a close decision. Khandozhko closed -156 with the return on Akman +135

Leonardo Santos returned from over a two-year absence to floor Stevie Ray with a beautiful overhand right to win by first round knockout. Santos closed -159 while Ray closed +139

Frank Camacho employed a brilliant game plan focusing on the body in the opening round which slowed Nick Hein down significantly in round two. Camacho increased the volume and was able force the referee to step in and stop the bout right near the end of round two. Camacho closed -145. Hein closed +121

Bea Malecki struggled in this fight, but once she had an advantageous position on the mat it didn’t take her long to find Eduarda Santana’s neck and secure a submission in the second round. Malecki closed -122 with the return on Santana +104

In an even fight heading into round three, Devin Clark out worked Darko Stosic in the third round to earn a hard-fought decision victory. Clark closed -125 while Stosic closed +104

Underdogs that Won

After a failed takedown attempt, Gustafsson gave up his back to Anthony Smith. The American was able to advance position and eventually submit the Swede in the fourth round for the biggest win of his career. Smith closed +277 while Gustafsson closed -345

Christos Giagos controlled the first two rounds in route to a decision victory over Damir Hadzovic. Giagos closed +139. Hadzovic closed -159

Lina Lansberg brutalized Tonya Evinger on the mat with elbows to win a dominant decision for her biggest win in the UFC. Lansberg closed +331 while Evinger closed -400

Joel Alvarez was able to reverse positions on the mat midway through round two to put Danilo Belluardo on his back. Alvarez landed a series of elbows and punches that forced the referee to step in and stop the fight. Alvarez closed -106. Belluardo closed -110

Pickem Fighters that Won

Daniel Teymur was able to land the more impactful strikes in the final round and pull away in the final round to earn a decision victory over Sung Bin Jo. Both fighters closed -106
