Chris Gutierrez had no problems with Ryan MacDonald employing a heavy leg kick attack to win all three rounds and an unanimous decision. Gutierrez closed -320 while MacDonald closed +260
Underdogs that Won
Despite being picked apart at range, Anthony Pettis backed up towards the cage with just seconds left in the second round and threw a superman punch that knocked out Stephen Thompson. Pettis closed +320 with the return on Thompson -420
Jussier Formiga was able to get Deiveson Figueiredo in each of the three rounds to win a decision in a top 10 flyweight bout. Formiga closed +145 while Figueiredo closed -170
Bryce Mitchell reversed positions in the third round to challenge with submissions to win the final round on the scorecards and get the victory over Bobby Moffett. Mitchell closed +130 with the return on Moffett +150
With the fight tied a round a piece, Jennifer Maia landed the bigger, more impactful punches in round three to win a decision over veteran Alexis Davis. Maia closed +125 with the return on Davis -145
Randa Markos got Angela Hill to the mat in the first round and eventually got her into a position where she could latch in an armbar to get the submission victory. Markos closed +135. Hill closed -155
In the night’s opening bout, Jordan Espinosa used a speed advantage to land his jab to edge out Eric Shelton for a decision victory in his UFC debut. Espinosa closed +110 while Shelton closed -140
