UFC on ESPN+ 4 took place Saturday, March 9, 2019 in Wichita, Kansas. The card was headlined by a top 10 heavyweight clash between former champion Junior dos Santos and “The Black Beast” Derrick Lewis.

Junior dos Santos had Derrick Lewis hurt in the first round, but it wasn’t until he landed a big overhand in round two where Lewis went to the mat. Omari Akhmedov broke Tim Boetsch’s nose with a punch early on and from there was able to control the action to win a decision. Akhmedov closed -158 with the return on Boetsch +128
Tony “Rocco” Martin utilized a low calf kick from the on set and frustrated Sergio Moraes to win the striking exchanges and a decision for perhaps the biggest win of his career. Martin closed -237. Moraes +187
Despite having her nose broken in the third round, Yana Kunitskaya did more than enough in the opening two rounds to win a clear decision over Marion Reneau in a battle of top 15 bantamweights. Kunitskaya closed -239 while Reneau closed +189
In his UFC debut, Grant Dawson secured takedowns throughout fight and really poured it on in the final round to solidify the fight and win a wide decision over Julian Erosa. Dawson closed -205 with the return on Erosa +165
Alex Morono had little trouble with Zak Ottow as he was able to finish him via a verbal submission to strikes midway through the first round. Morono closed -185 while Ottow closed +155
After taking a heavy elbow in the first round, Alex White settled in and landed at a higher volume to win a decision over Dan Moret. White closed -142. Moret closed +112
Underdogs that Won
Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos had no issues with surging welterweight Curtis Millender. He took him to the mat early in the first round and advanced position to earn a rear naked choke. Dos Santos closed +100 with the return on Millender -130
In a wild first round, Tim Means had Niko Price backing up and in trouble, but Price countered dropping Means. He followed up with hammer fists to win by emphatic knockout. Price closed +170 while Means closed -215
In a very close bout, Blagoy Ivanov landed the more effective punches to edge out a decision over Ben Rothwell. Ivanov closed -109. Rothwell closed -121.
Maurice Greene used his size well and landed his jab just enough to edge out a split decision over Jeff Hughes. Greene closed +210 while Hughes closed -260
Matt Schnell landed some punches early, but it was the takedown and submission attempts that put Louis Smolka in a difficult position as he was forced to tap in the opening round of their bout. Schnell closed +100 with the return on Smolka -130
