ONE Championship 42’s Angela Lee: ‘Mei Yamaguchi hasn’t fought anyone like me’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with ONE Championship 42 atomweight Angela Lee as she prepares for her main event title fight tomorrow (May 6, 2016) against Mei Yamaguchi at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore.

The talented and undefeated youngster is very confident heading into her title opportunity and she feels the global MMA rules will give her an advantage:

“[Mei Yamaguchi]’s greatest strength is she’s a champion and she knows what it takes to go to the championship rounds to win. She’s very durable. She’s one of those girls that’s gonna grind you out, catch you with a lucky hand and when you’re rocked, get you on the ground and look for that sub. We’ve been preparing for that and I’m super confident in our gameplan. Mei has never fought someone like me before. The One Championship rules will be difficult for her to adjust to with the global MMA rule-set and I’m definitely confident going into this fight.
