World Series of Fighting 4 Closing Odds & Results

xfc-21 The World Series of Fighting staged their fourth event tonight in Ontario, Calif., and while it wasn’t the promotion’s best offering it was still a solid card full of fun action. Overall, five betting favorites won while three underdogs cashed. Here’s a betting recap for the event based on the closing MMA odds for WSOF 4: WSOF BETTING FAVORITES THAT WON In the main event of the evening, Tyrone Spong won his second MMA fight as he improved to 2-0 in the sport with a unanimous decision victory win over Angel DeAnda. Spong was a massive -1450 favorite (bet $1450 to win $100), while DeAnda never had a chance as a +1150 dog (bet $100 to win $1150). In the co-main event of the evening, Marlon Moraes improved to 3-0 in WSOF with a unanimous decision win over a tough Brandon Hempleman. Moraes scored at +525, while Hempleman failed at +450. In a lightweight bout, Nick Newell defeated Keon Caldwell via first-round submission. Newell cashed out at -305, while Caldwell was +275. In a welterweight bout, Gerald Harris won a controversial unanimous decision over Jorge Santiago. Harris cashed out at -145, while Santiago failed at +115. In a bantamweight bout, Jared Papazian defeated Jared Robles via unanimous decision. Papazian was a -225 fav, while Robles was a +175 dog. WSOF BETTING UNDERDOGS THAT WON In a heavyweight bout, Dave Huckaba defeated WSOF president Ray Sefo via second-round TKO to cash out as a +160 dog. Sefo, meanwhile, lost as a -170 fav and may retire from MMA now. In a lightweight bout, JZ Cavalcante defeated Tyson Griffin via third-round TKO due to unanswered strikes from the back mount. This was one of the biggest shockers on the card as Cavalcante cashed out as a +215 dog, while Griffin failed as a -235 fav. And in another lightweight bout , Lewis Gonzalez defeated Antonio McKee via technical decision after an accidental hit to the back of McKee’s head in the third forced the ref to stop the fight. Gonzalez was a +175 dog, while McKee was a -225 favorite.
