Five Props is a column featured on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here are five UFC Fight Night: Smith vs Teixeira bets that cashed big based on the closing odds from across various sportsbooks.
1) Glover Teixeira wins in round five (+3300)
Glover Teixeira was hit hard in the first round by Anthony Smith, but he turned the tide, eventually hurting Smith badly in the third round and dominating the remainder of the fight before scoring an early fifth round TKO finish. Teixeira in round five was the clear prop of the night at +3300.
2) Brian Kelleher by KO/TKO (+1050)
Not only did Brian Kelleher hand Hunter Azure his first career defeat, he also did it with his fists, connecting with a huge left hand to set up a knockout. Kelleher’s performance was good for +1050.
3) Thiago Moises wins in round two (+900)
Michael Johnson obliterated Thiago Moises in the first round, so live betting might have been even worse for Moises, but Moises responded in round two, quickly changing levels, dropping down for a leg lock and forcing a quick tap from Johnson. Moises in round two closed at a cool +1050.
4) Drew Dober wins in round two (+700)
After a competitive first round, Drew Dober began expertly cutting off the cage against Alexander Hernandez, hurting Hernandez badly before finishing him after multiple knockdowns. Dober in round two paid +700.
5) Andrei Arlovski wins by Decision (+375)
Most people thought Arlovski wouldn’t make it out of the first round against Philip Lins, but not only did Arlovski survive the round, he went on to win the second and third rounds to take a decision victory as an underdog. Arlovski by decision closed at +375.
A $100 parlay on these five props would have netted a eight-figure cash with $14,857,900.
