Combate Americas recently held its 38th event in Peru on Saturday. Here are the betting results of the primary fights.

Gean Franco Cortez opened as a +285 underdog with Daniel Zellhuber a -405 favorite. MMA oddsmaker Nick Kalikas said there was two way action on the fight, with Cortez closing a +281 dog and Zellhuber closing a -390 favorite, which led to a small profit for the sportsbooks when Zellhuber won by TKO in the third round.

Marlon Gonzales opened as a -175 favorite. Kalikas said the bout had two-way action with Gonzalez bet up early by the public but late action came in on Villaseca, who closed as a +125 underdog and  and the books profited small when Gonzalez won a split decision.

In the Maria Paula Buzaglo vs Alitzel Mariscal bout, Mariscal opened as a -160 favorite and the public bet on Mariscal early. Kalikas said the betting line climbed on Mariscal, but not too crazy because sharper action was on dog. Mariscal closed as a -180 favorite and the sportsbooks profited when Buzaglo won a split decision.

Andres Ayala vs Renzo Mendez fight, Kalikas said all the action was on Mendez, who opened as a -200 favorite. Kalikas said the line doubled to -400 by closing and the books lost when Mendez was victorious.

In the Rodrigo Vera vs Eduardo Torres fight, Kalikas said the public came in hard on Vera, flipping the line from his initial +140 opener to making him the -135 betting favorite by closing time. Torres won and books profited decently.

Bruno Pereira opened as a -155 favorite against Kevin Moreyra and got bet up to heavy favorite with steady action. Kalikas said people were banking on Pereira’s ground game but Perreira slowed in second round and the house won heavy when the +255 underdog Moreyra hit.

Lastly, in the Yury Valenzuela vs Vicente Vargas fight, Kalikas said the bout had two way action with the public coming in slightly more on Valenzuela, who opened at -385 and closed at -335 when the lines tightened up. He said the sportsbooks won small Valenzuela Vargas had two way action slightly more on Valenzuela. Sports books won small when Vargas won a decision.
