Justin Gaethje Decision (+275)
Max Holloway is taking another stab at the lightweight division in an incredible action fight with Justin Gaethje. I ultimately like Gaethje here to use heavy leg kicks and having more power behind his punches to dictate the fight. Similar to how the Poirier and Holloway fight played out some years ago, Holloway had trouble winning the fight due to the size disadvantage and just not carrying over power to the lightweight division.
My only concern is Gaethje getting drawn into a firefight and caught or getting tired and losing a conditioning battle to Holloway who is known to have exceptional cardio. As long as Gaethje remains disciplined and picks his shots while chopping down Holloway’s legs I think he has a great shot at winning by decision. This is also counting on Holloway’s durability holding up because he has taken a lot of damage over the years and Gaethje can hit hard.
