Prop: Stevenson By TKO (+275 or best line available to you)
Shakur Stevenson is in my opinion the best 135’er in boxing and I do not think many would argue that statement. I believe he will continue to show it in Thursday night’s rare double header with the co-main featuring Emanuel Navarrete defending his title.
Stevenson has had trouble finding opponents willing to step into the ring with him as he is just a nightmare matchup for just about anybody in or around that weight class. Originally it was to be PBC’s Frank Martin, another top lightweight contender but due to contract negotiation issues he opted to step out after initially agreeing to fight Shakur.
Stevenson now gets de Los Santos, a 24 year-old southpaw with a 16-1 record. A pretty good opponent for Stevenson but, Stevenson should be able to style on him after a few rounds of a feeling out process. I think Stevenson’s power has carried well into 135 and coupled with his incredible shot selection I believe we will see a finish to make a statement for the other lightweights to take notice of.
Thanks for reading and best of luck!
