Prop: Canelo By Decision (+250), Over 8.5 (-115)
This is a bit of a fade on Canelo’s endurance at super-middleweight. He is an incredible fighter all around but we have seen him start to slow in fights with the most recent one being against Golovkin in their trilogy fight from September. Canelo cruised for the majority of the fight but did slow down in the final four-to-five rounds. A 40-year-old Golovkin was able to mount some offense on a tired Canelo but it was not enough as Canelo retained his titles to close out the rivalry.
I am not saying to expect Canelo to significantly slow or to see Ryder take over in the second half of the fight but, I do like the odds on Canelo picking apart the British foe throughout the fight and cruising to a decision victory in his home country to what may set up a rematch with Bivol in September.
